Aftercare

Although diamonds are one of the hardest substances there are, they are not indestructible. You should always be wary of this and avoid wearing them during activities where they could take a hard knock.

Keeping your diamond looking as sparkling as when you bought it is easy. Place your diamond piece in a solution of six parts water and one part ammonia, or simply hot soapy water. Use a soft-bristle toothbrush to gently brush across the diamond to loosen dirt. Try to avoid brushing off the metal as this might cause it to mark or scratch. When all the dirt appears to be clear, rinse well under warm water to renew its brilliance then dry it with a soft cloth.
